Description :	There are three upstairs bedrooms to sleep six, a main bathroom and a utility room toilet, A spacious fully equipped kitchen and dining area, entrance hall, landing, utility room and a lounge with an open fireplace. The cottage is fully insulated, double glazed and has oil-fired central heating. Outside, the front of the property consists of a driveway, which will accommodate two cars. The back yard is south facing, and is a much larger space, suitable as a play area, and with a patio area outside the kitchen. The yard faces onto a large open farmers field, where you can occasionally see sheep grazing. There is a useful garden shed for storing fishing gear, golf equipment, surf boards, bicycles, etc. Surrounding Area: Culdaff is a small village on the north coast of the Inishowen Peninsula. Its name is from the Irish for the corner of two fords, - which was how the river was crossed before the bridge was built. It has a long history, going back to about the 7th century, with early Christian settlements, and probably even earlier, with the evidence of megalithic structures in the area. The most popular attraction in the village is almost certainly McGrorys. The establishment boasts two unique bars.- The Front Bar which is noted for a fine selection of quality food and drink, traditional Irish music and a friendly Irish welcome, while The Backroom is famous throughout Ireland and beyond for its range and quality of music and entertainment. The Backroom can also be used for weddings, conferences, meetings etc. Mc Grorys Restaurant caters for up to sixty diners in a comfortable yet stylish setting. Other local establishments include the Caratra Lodge, with a bar and restaurant, opposite the beach car park, and the Culdaff Arms, a pub in the village, which has a lively reputation for modern and traditional music. The White Strand is the name of Culdaffs blue flag beach. An ideal place for bathing, and has a well equipped childrens play area near the car park. A picturesque fishing harbour on the west side of the beach called Bunagee Pier, is a popular venue from which anglers can cast a line. The more serious angler may want to consider hiring a fully licensed deep sea fishing boat. Boating enthusiasts may want to use this harbour, which has deep water anchorage and a slipway. Other activities and attractions in the area include: Bird watching, - There is a local bird sanctuary on the estuary, before the beach. Paint Balling, Walking, Pony trekking, Cycling, Golf at Ballyliffin. Visit Malin Head, Irelands most northerly point. Or take a longer drive on the Inishowen 100 around the peninsula.
